Search the transcript of tonight’s presidential debate for the word, “Ayers,” and you’ll find it appears four times — but only as the last five letters of another word, “taxpayers.”
In what might rank as the greatest surprise and disappointment of the town hall-style event held at Nashville’s Belmont University, Republican John McCain failed to mention the last name of Democrat Barack Obama‘s unrepentant terrorist friend, Bill Ayers. As a result, millions of Americans missed hearing the candidates discuss what was, arguably, the hottest discussion topic in the blogosphere this week.
If you watched the debate and feel cheated by the lack of discussion about Ayers, I recommend the following as a reading/viewing list for you:

Perhaps it doesn’t matter – Palin’s doin’ such a good job on her own! I’d bet she’s got remarks planned for at least one unsavory association for every day of the week between now and November 4:) God knows she’s got enough to choose from!
