Obama Lies, Repeated Often, Become Media Truth

October 7th, 2008 · 1 Comment

Though it isn’t attributed to Barack Obama, I’m convinced the Democrat presidential nominee firmly believes the following statement attributed to Dr. Joseph Goebbels to be true:

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.”

Goebbels, in case you fell asleep during history class, was the leader of Adolph Hitler’s propaganda machine during World War II.  Officially known as Reich Minister of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda during Hitler era, he had a lot more to say about using fibs, falsehoods and bald-faced lies as the means to achieve political ends:

“The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

What lies have Obama and his lackeys in the mainstream news media been propagating to the point that many Americans now believe them to be true?  Actually, the laundry list is too long to feature in one post.  Instead, I offer three of the best sites offering troublesome examples of Obama’s apparent inability to deal in truths:

Obama Lies #1Video about his pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and his church, Trinity United Church of Christ;

Obama Lies #2More Obama Lies the Media Will Ignore

Obama Lies #3Hope, Change, & Lies: Orchestrated “Grassroots” Smear Campaigns & the People that Run Them

Be advised, I’m sure more lies will surface during the remaining 28 days of the campaign.  When they do, I’ll write about them here.

It’s been said that history is a lie agreed upon. Democrats are trying to rewrite history by blaming the Bush administration for the current crisis and claiming that the rescue bill is necessary to save the economy from Republican mismanagement.

I urge you to read, Barney Frank’s Bankrupt Ideas.
