Published yesterday, the editorial cartoon above offers what its creator, Red Planet Cartoons, describes as a conservative primer for first-time voters — and it does a great job!  My only wish is that the cartoonist would have seen fit to include the image of Barack Obama in the lower panel.

In fact, Obama could have been shown standing on an American flag next to unrepentant domestic terrorist Bill Ayers with the Pentagon or New York City Police Headquarters — two of Ayers’ Weather Underground targets — smoldering in the background.  Why?  Because, with less than four weeks to go until election day, conservatives who fear an Obama presidency must take every opportunity to paint the picture of who the Democratic Party nominee really is.
