Reports of an early-morning explosion at a law firm in Dalton, Ga., are hitting the news wires now.  The Daily Citizen newspaper of Dalton, a community of 33,000 some 90 miles northwest of Atlanta, reported this at approximately 10:12 a.m. EDT:

There was an explosion at the McCamy Law Firm near downtown Dalton at approximately 10 this morning resulting in multiple injuries. According to witnesses, the windows of the building were blown out and at least one person had his clothes burned off. He was being taken to the hospital.

Moments ago, Fox News reported witness accounts of a man throwing a “Molotov cocktail” (a.k.a., “a firebomb”) through a window of the law firm into a room where a meeting was taking place.

News of the blast at McCamy, Phillips, Tuggle & Fordham, LLP (a.k.a., The McCamy Law Firm) leaves me wondering about the possibility of a connection between this incident and yesterday’s bomb blast in St. Louis about which I posted an initial account and an update.
