Must-Read: ‘RASH HOUSES’ by R.J. Godlewski

October 21st, 2008 · 1 Comment

You’re throwing a party at your house and you invite your new neighbor to join in the festivities. He mentions that he has some out of town guests, but still would very much like to attend your gala. You look at your wife, shrug your shoulders, and then say, “Sure, bring them along. The more the merrier!” So off you go, tending to matters more important than who’s coming to dinner. There’s so much to plan.

And so begins R.J. Godlewski’s post, Rash Houses.  Published today, it ranks, hands down, among the best posts I’ve ever read either at Debbie Hamilton’s Right Truth blog and, for that matter, anywhere in the blogosphere.

A “must-read” post, it uses a third-person perspective to paint a portrait of a gathering to which everyone in the neighborhood — including many neighbors you don’t know well — is invited to your home.  Not surprisingly, a close look at the people who are “the fabric” of your neighborhood reveals many holes — not unlike the ones facing our country today.

Read Rash Houses, and I think you’ll agree that Godlewski nailed this attempt to communicate about the condition in which the United States finds itself barely two weeks before election day.

Thanks for the plug. I agree that this is one of R.J. Godlewski’s best articles. (It is R. “J”, rather than R.”L”)

He writes regular articles at Right Truth, is also writing the ebook “Patient Evil”. I will be posting Chapter 42 tomorrow.

Also Patient Evil has been picked up by a local newspaper, along with Right Truth Book Club reviews and some other Right Truth articles.
