Terrorists Like Bill Ayers Don’t Care Who They Hurt

October 21st, 2008 · 8 Comments

“Terrorists Don’t Care Who They Hurt.” That was the overarching message of a direct mail piece that arrived in my mailbox today from the Republican National Committee.  Yesterday, it was a four-page piece from the Missouri GOP that featured headlines that should cause even the most dim-witted voter to take pause:

Obama Has Close Ties to Domestic Terrorist.

Terrorist.  Radical.  Friend of Obama.

Barack Obama.  Not Who You Think He Is.

Both pieces, portions of which are shown in the photo above, are populated with photos and information about unrepentant domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, his co-conspirator and wife Bernardine Dorne and their ties to Democratic Party presidential nominee Barack Obama.

Here’s to hoping people read these mailers and, before voting, listen to ‘The Poll Whisperer.

Your Right…..Terrorists dont care who they hurt…

Im sure Ayers DIDDNT care if he got someone killed…..but that was his past…..im not giving him a free card, what he did is criminal and disgusting….but what you are suggesting is that he is a person who deserves no forgiveness and should be continuously persecuted for something dispicable he did in the past…..thats wrong…

By this logic, we should’nt hire former bloods and crips or other gang member for jobs or even help them get education or housing…….

Ayers is a professor at Chicago and Obama helped to raise money for some colleges…..id say he is no longer involved in criminal activities…

you know, it is possible for people to change, to wise up and mature with age, to find another way to live, act or behave when they disagree with something……

Ayers participated in a radical anti-vietnam war effort that could have killed people all in the name of protesting……but he has found education as another means to constructively protest our governments actions as protected by our constitution that we all are grateful for.

Some of us get led down the wrong path, get caught up in the moment and led astray, but to suggest that people cant change is a crime in itself……no one is perfect…..this man has lived a lifetime of regret im sure, he only wishes he could have done more to stop the war……that does not mean setting more bombs, it means that he has learned a better way using our system, to protest the government……but for now, he is a public servant…..which is more than what i can say about many former criminals or “terrorists”

    take care and god bless

O4O — Obviously, you’ve been insulated from the news for awhile, so let me help you out. Watch this video which includes statements made by Ayers — about being an anarchist then and now — within the past six years. Nowhere in the video does he expresses any regret. That’s all I need to know.

HOTP2. Anarchism and terrorism are not the same thing. There is nothing wrong with being anti establishment.

mlt — Duh. I just pulled out one of several examples I could have used. Stop splitting hairs.

Bob, It’s unfortunate that they let people as ignorant as you access to a computer.

Dave — What’s unfortunate is that people like you have little better to do than surf blogs with whom you disagree and make comments that contribute nothing to the conversation. Now, crawl back into your mom’s basement and be quiet.

A dimwitted voter is one who believes all the sensationalistic b.s. that lands in his inbox. Why is there all this talk about Ayers, and so little about the supposed connection he has to Obama? The reason is that there is no real “connection.” Having professional connections to a well-known professor at one of the top universities in the country, as about a zillion other people do, is not “palling around” with that person. Nor does it say one iota about you or what you think or approve of or disapprove of. This all strikes me (and most of America, it seems) as the response of the desperate and gullible to the rantings of the just-plain-desperate.

Jessica — “I told you so!” That’s what I’ll be telling you, sooner or later, if Obama gets elected, so stay in touch.
