News from Hawaii might put a damper on Chicagoan Andy Martin and his plans to hold three news conferences today, including one during which he promised to make public “major news” on what he calls “Barack Obama’s secret truths” that are “sure to roil the presidential campaign.”

In a post this afternoon, I shared the news about Martin.  According to a report published late this afternoon Central Standard Time by the Hawaii Reporter, the Hawaii Supreme Court has denied Martin’s effort to obtain a copy of Barack Obama’s original Hawaiian birth certificate.  [See the full ruling here: http://www.state.hi.us/jud/opinions/sct/2008/29414ord.pdf.]

If any of Martin’s news conference take place and, in turn, offer anything of substance, I’ll post an update in this space.
