Andy Martin
Andy Martin, the Chicago writer featured in two recent BMW posts — here and here — told a Honolulu news conference today that, after an intense international investigation, he is convinced that Democratic Party presidential candidate Barack Obama is really the son of Obama’s controversial mentor, Frank Marshall Davis.
Martin waxed poetic about the conspiracy surrounding Obama and, as much as I had hoped Martin would produce something of value related to the the Illinois senator’s birth certificate controversy, it appears he has been “chasing rabbits” instead. In other words, it appears he has found nothing — unless, that is, you believe what you read in the news release he issued late last night.
From this point forward, it appears the only lawsuits worth following as of this posting are those of Phillip Berg and Steve Marquis.

Bob,
If true, Frank Marshall Davis would have been 55 when he supposedly impregnated a 17 year old Obama baby mama. I don’t but it. Andy Martin is a loon.
That being said, it is interesting to note that Davis was born in Arkansas City, KS. His mother, Madelyn Dunham, was also born in Kansas. So they did have something in common.
But I still think it’s BS. Andy Martin has been a consipracy loon for decades.

KC — I agree with that Martin appears to be a loon, but the Kansas connection is interesting. Hmmm?

I’ll stick with the known facts about Obama; they’re bad enough as it is, without resorting to the kind of crank thinking the Left has specialized in for decades (aka, Dubya blew up the Twin Towers on 9/11/01, etc).

Actually, Andy Martin is NOT the first person to suggest Frank Marshall Davis to be more than Obama’s mentor at age 10. This was suggested in a post found here — http://astuteblogger.blogspot.com/2008/09/was-communist-frank-marshall-davis.html
The UK Daily Telegraph did not exactly suggest that Davis was more than Obama’s mentor, but highlighted how close the friendship was between Davis and Obama’s grandfather here –

Finally, a genealogist who discovered nude photos of Obama’s mother quite by accident speculates that she posed for Davis in his apartment between Thanksgiving and Christmas, because of decorations seen in the backgroun — and it is important to note that Obama was born on August 4, 1961. Frank Davis acknowledged that he wrote a pornographic novel that included a reference to a teenager named “Anne,” who came to him on numerous occasions. He thought she was “jail bait,” but he complied with her requests. Of course, all this is circumstantial evidence, but it shows that Andy Martin is not the only one who thinks Davis in Obama’s father, and it also further emphasizes the American voters’ need to see the original birth certificate, in order to draw their own conclusion.
