Businesses in the United States pay the world’s second-highest corporate income tax rate in the developed world, according to the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development.

Still, Barack Obama — the Democratic Party presidential nominee who feigns concern about America’s competitiveness across the globe — wants to keep those taxes high.

If elected, Obama will those taxes will remain high — and perhaps rise — and thousands will, in turn, lay off workers or, in many cases, flee to foreign lands altogether.
