Just after 11 a.m. CDT, Fox News Channel’s Rick Leventhal reported from the scene of a Philadelphia polling location to which police were called to deal with a group of Black Panthers alleged to be carrying nightsticks and intimidating voters.
Leventhal interviewed a Republican poll observer who offered details of how he approached the entrance to the polling location — what appeared to be a multi-family apartment building — only to see the men “close ranks” in an attempt to stop him from entering. Describing himself as an Army veteran, he said he was not afraid of the nightstick-wielding men and proceeded to walk between them and into the polling place to talk with officials inside.
A few minutes later, he said, he exited through the same doorway, was confronted by the men with the nightsticks and told them he wasn’t going to get into a fist fight with them. After walking away, he called police and they ordered the most aggressive man to leave the polling location.

A reader who was *at* this event emailed and said that it was a whole lot of nothing. The Black Panthers were there in front of the polling place but it was not clear that they were intimidating anyone. The police were called but no one was arrested and the Black Panthers were simply asked to stay away from the entrance of the polling place.

Scholar,
Learn from this: It doesn’t mean things are “okay” just because no one was arrested. I mean, come on, nightstick-carrying Black Panthers? That’s outrageous!

Heard this before “No Odinga, No Peace”
In Kenya they waited for the vote count first, maybe confidence is waning.

Faxon — Perhaps you’re right.

I watched the interview on the news and the poll observer was correct—ANYONE standing outside a doorway “thumping” a nightstick is a form of intimidation. I don’t expect anyone except a uniformed policeman to be carrying a nightstick and, hopefully, the police wouldn’t be hindering someone from entering the polling station.

Yeah, the Black Panthers are known for trying to suppress voting rights. Oh, wait, no, that would be the Republican party. Here in VA, your pals distributed leaflets “informing” voters that due to high polling turnouts, Repubs were to vote on the 4th and Dems on the 5th. You are disgusting, your party is disgusting. Period.

CNN just interviewed some clown in a hoody. The guy was so stupid, he admitted on National TV that he had already voted a few times. The reported said, “that’s illegal but its ok”. The anchor did not know what to say except laugh. CNN must be upset that Obama’s fraudalent supporters were caught on live TV. Too bad nothing will be done about it and unfortunately Obama will be our “redistribtuionist in chief”.

There is a distinct difference between someone sending out fake flyers and a mob of people standing in front of a polling place with night sticks…
If you are not intelligent enough to know that you vote on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November, you have no business voting. Like the flyer said show up on Wednesday….

Wow, that is scary. I heard little green men were grabbing Republicans and carting them away in black helicopters. They are going to keep them in Oprah Winfrey’s basement until Obama has a chance to steal the election.
Keep up the good work. Remember, NEVER let the truth get in the way of expressing your opinion.

Obama May Want to Rethink His New Black Panther Webpage
Could you imagine if John McCain had a webpage dedicated to a white supremest group at his website? Do you honestly think that would go unnoticed by the media?
Considering his latest G-damning America minister debacle…
Barack Obama may want to rethink his New Black Panther Page posted on his website:
Considering there is already enough video out there of Obama’s pastor and mentor G-damning America– And considering that the senator has the support of Louis Farrakhan– The New Black Panther endorsement will probably not help him win over those rural voters in Pennsylvania.
Meanwhile… Ace of Spades has the latest from Reverend Jeremiah Wright–
An anti-Semitic screed that would make a card carrying CAIR member blush.
UPDATE: (Wednesday) FOX News reported that the Obama Camp removed the New Black Panther Endorsement from their website today.
