Two groups — one “Down Under” and one in “Big D” — are promoting polar-opposite views of sex this week.
In Australia, the new Australian Sex Party — an actual political party — is billing itself as “a political response to the sexual needs of Australia in the 21st century.” A review of the group’s web site reveals that it is actually more of a front group for pro-choice and pro-adult entertainment (a.k.a., “pornography”) interests than it is an advocacy group for healthy sexual practices.
For information and advice on healthy sexual practices, one should turn to the Pastor Ed Young and the Leaving Lust Vegas series of messages he began this weekend at the nondenominational Fellowship Church in the Dallas suburb of Grapevine. As part of the series, he is encouraging married couples in his church to enjoy seven days of sex as a way to “take our marriages to a whole ‘nother level.”
Who can argue with that logic? Not me!
