That said, Sharia law does not now pose an immediate threat to America but you only have to look across the Atlantic to what is now going on in many corners of Europe to envision what we may one day face. Most notably in Belgium and Holland where Muslims will likely become the dominant demographic by the middle of this century. In France, Great Britain, Germany, Spain and elsewhere in Europe Muslim enclaves are seeking to supplant existing law with Sharia law to govern domestic matters within their communities. A number towns and villages in on the outskirts of Birmingham, England and outside Paris, France have been taken over by Muslims, winnowing out the native populace over time. To a limited extent you can see the same situation developing here in Detroit and just across the Canadian border in Windsor.

I may not know much about Sharia law, but I do know that anyone who desires to live under Sharia law should remove themselves with all due haste to where they have Sharia law. They would be well advised not to seek to recreate it here. I can not think of any defect in American law and our system of government that stands to be improved by Sharia law.

Now while we still can, is the time to consider what we want our country to be in 50 or 100 years.
