A friend in Texas sent me an e-mail to let me know MSNBC is taking a poll about the appropriateness of having the words, “In God We Trust,” on U.S. currency. The graphic above shows the results soon after I cast my vote: 82 percent of nearly 9 million votes were cast in favor of keeping those words on U.S. currency.

YES!!! WE SHOULD LEAVE (IN GOD WE TRUST) ON OUR CURRENCY. IT’S A SHAME THAT WE HAVE COME TO THIS…MAY THE MERCY OF GOD BE MAGNIFIED UPON THOSE WHO VOTE AGAINST THIS.
