Associated Press was quick to give Barack Obama an out when it came to the possibility that he might have some involvement with the corruption scandal surrounding Gov. Rod Blagojevich (D-Ill.). On Tuesday, the news cartel published a brief under the headline, Obama: No contact with Blagojevich on Senate seat.
I’m not so quick to believe Obama’s “no contact” ploy, especially after seeing an AP photo (right) of Obama shaking hands with Blagojevich Dec. 2 at the National Governor’s Conference in Philadelphia. Are you?
