In a post at American Thinker today, Rosslyn Smith wonders whether Eric Holder, the man Barack Obama has selected to serve as the next attorney general, has memory problems. She writes:
Holder’s Selective Memory Syndrome?
It seems that Attorney General Designee Eric Holder that Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich tried to hire him to sort out the state’s long dormant casino license on his 47-page response to a Senate Judiciary Committee questionnaire made public this week. Considering that he submitted to questionnaire five days after Blagojevich’s high profile arrest at a time when Barack Obama’s transition team was shaken over the conversations between some of its member and the Governor, Holder’s position that this was an oversight seems a tad suspicious.
In reality, Holder is suffering from Partzheimer’s, a rare form of memory loss about which I’ve written extensively on this blog. Also known as “Convenient Memory-Loss Syndrome,” the condition affects those in the public spotlight — politicians, movie stars and high-profile corporate executives — more often than any other group. Symptoms show up most often when individuals afflicted with the disease are speaking under oath. Unfortunately, the disease often goes undiagnosed and untreated for years.
