President-elect Barack Obama’s post-election statements and actions have left some wondering whether, in fact, there are any real differences between him and President George W. Bush.

While liberals berate the 43rd president for being a puppet of wealthy GOP donors, deep-pocketed corporate titans and members of the warmongering “military-industrial complex,” conservatives criticize the soon-to-be-44th president for being a front man for radicals waging class warfare, pushing the Orwellian-named Employee Free Choice Act and promoting pro-choice, pro-socialism Democratic Party ideas.

To adequately describe the kind of political “change” taking place in Washington, D.C., I must borrow the words a police officer might use to admonish bystanders gathered at the scene of a traffic accident:  “Move along!  Nothing to see here, folks!”
