Obama Appoints ‘Hammer and Sickle’ Thinkers

January 13th, 2009 · 5 Comments

Though the breakup of the Soviet Union began early in 1985, liberals haven’t stopped embracing communism.  In fact, “hammer and sickle” thinking is gaining ground in the United States, thanks largely to Barack Obama and the people he’s selected to serve in his administration.

Yesterday alone, reports surfaced about two people with ties to communism being appointed to serve in the next administration:

1. According to several news reports, Leon Panetta, the person Obama has asked to serve as his director of the Central Intelligence Agency, should be disqualified because of his ties to KGB-friendly think tank; and

2. According to a Washington Times report, Carol Browner, the person Obama has appointed to serve as his “climate czar,” has socialist ties.  Furthermore, she was listed as one of 14 leaders of a socialist group’s Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which calls for “global governance” and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change.

With a little more digging, I’m sure I could find more examples to offer.  The point, however, is that the same dangerous ideology — the one that helped shape the former Soviet Union into what it was and is making today’s Russia more like the old Soviet Union — is alive and well in people Obama has appointed to serve at the highest levels of the federal government, beginning one week from today.

To find out what this news means for Americans, turn to Yuri Bezmenov, a former Soviet KGB agent who defected prior to the breakup of the Soviet Union.

Bezmenov explained the implications of communism’s slow and deliberate infiltration of the United States in a video-taped interview conducted in 1984 by G. Edward Griffin.  After watching Part 1 and Part 2 of the interview, I encourage you to share this post with your friends and loved ones. Thanks in advance.

Socialism and Communism have been heavily demonised in the western world, esspecially in the United States. I think that post-credit crunch, people should realize that capitalism is defective, and the extreme capitalism as preached in the United States is highly detrimental for both the econemy and individuals as well. As well as the globally percieved wealth of America there is also immense poverty, social unrest and social exclusion, not to mention racism and general stupidity. I think that more community spirit, less capitalism and a lot more equality might help fix the broken nation of America and if that is what Obama is bringing then well done to him.

Obviously, you’re not familiar with communism, Comrade Jeremy.
