Much to my surprise, I learned today that my March 9 post, Heroic Name Given to Photo of President Obama, had earned a spot among Blogrunner’s “most influential” writings on the subject of stem cells.
In case you’re not familiar with it, Blogrunner is a service owned by The New York Times that automatically monitors news articles and blog posts and tracks news events as they develop across the web.
Though accustomed to having my blog posts picked up by the service, I decided to check it out after noticing in my blog stats today that I had gotten a handful of referrals from the site. Once there, I found the aforementioned post listed in the #5 spot below the following four articles, all penned by heavyweights:
- Ron Winslow | Wall Street Journal First Stem-Cell Trial Is Approved
- Charles Krauthammer | The Washington Post President Obama and Stem Cells — Science Fiction
- NICHOLAS WADE | The New York Times Rethink Stem Cells? Science Already Has
- White House News Removing Barriers to Responsible Scientific Research Involving Human Stem Cells
- hotoffthepress2 | Bob McCarty Writes Heroic Name Given to Photo of President Obama
Though I don’t count myself a fan of The New York Times, I must say Blogrunner is a top-notch service.
