In a bombshell tonight, Supreme Court Justice David Souter (above left) announced he will retire at the end of the Court’s current session, according to Greta Van Susteren. Coupled with the fact that his colleague, Ruth Bader Ginsburg (above right), is battling pancreatic cancer, a disease that has a high mortality rate, tonight’s news likely [...]

If you annoyed the chef, he would yell, “No soup for you!” When I hear the mindless reasoning of President Barack Obama’s supporters, I want to scream, “NO VOTE FOR YOU!” All of our spending as a nation up until this [...]

Though I rarely agree with the host of Late Show with David Letterman, I have to applaud David Letterman for a public service effort he aired earlier this week. In an effort to share critical information about the Swine Flu outbreak, the CBS talk show host shared a must-view video (see above) with his worldwide [...]

I’m not an anti-smoking crusader, so don’t take this the wrong way. I am an advertising junkie and, as such, had to share two images from a Brazilian anti-smoking effort. I discovered them at BestAdsOnTV.com: In case you’re wondering, the white text against the black background reads as follows: CIGARETTES: JUST LOOKING AT THEM MAKES [...]

April 29th, 2009 · 3 Comments
With the number of Swine Flu cases growing fast and fears of a pandemic dominating the news, many Americans are calling for the nation’s southern border to be sealed to stem the flow of individuals — legal and illegal immigrants — from Mexico and beyond who might be infected with the new flu “cocktail.” I [...]
