Lloyd Marcus ‘Rock Star’ of Tea Party Movement

April 10th, 2009 · 2 Comments

My friend, Lloyd Marcus — about whom I blogged for the first time March 19 and on subsequent occasions here and here — is staying busy as the talented singer-songwriter (a.k.a., “Rock Star”) behind the American Tea Party Anthem.

From a hotel in Los Angeles, he sent the following e-mail last night:

Lloyd Marcus

Lloyd Marcus

Last Friday, I left my home in Florida to perform at a Tea Party in Santa Barbara, CA. After my performance, Michael Patrick Leahy asked me to stay in CA to appear on Pajamas TV. What began as me appearing on two Tea Party Coalition programs has evolved into me staying in CA until after I perform at the Sacramento Tea Party April 15th

So, I am at what you might call “tea party central” and the movement is HUGE; over 600 scheduled and growing daily for April 15th. This INCREDIBLE movement was sparked by one man’s rant, Rick Santelli, and embraced by the American people. How cool and American is that! (smile)

Amazingly, the mainstream media have chosen to ignore this Great American Story. But that’s OK because God is on our side. Only a ‘perfect storm’ could have united and organized so many people.

I am extremely excited and energized to “tea party” with my patriot brothers and sisters across our great nation on Tax Day, April 15th.

God Bless,
Lloyd Marcus

I encourage you to consider the varied implications contained in the e-mail above and consider supporting Lloyd in this tireless, ongoing effort which has, on occasion placed him in the cross hairs of liberals firing hate-filled speech in his direction:

Sherry — The answer, sadly, is “No.”
