Thanks, Wayne! I must admit, however, that I established a Twitter account only to discover later that I really didn't want -- or have the time -- to keep it updated. Maybe that will change soon.

Bob, I just discovered your blog and added you to who I am following on Twitter. Good stuff. This is a response I wrote to the mass earth day email the Gore Machine sent out : "Repower America" http://www.repoweramerica.org/
which begins with this sentance: "In order to solve the climate crisis, we can't just change light bulbs -- we need to change laws."
Dear Mr. Al Gore; I believe in conservation practices, for certain, I also believe that if humans are responsible for so called Global Warming then the trend is not reversible because in order for change to occur it would have to be immediate and in total, world wide. We do not have the technology to perform this immediate change nor do we have the cooperation of the world to implement the non existent technology. This brings me to my point: Global Warming is, in reality, a strategy to alarm the world into unison against a supposed unseen enemy in order to carry out alternative agendas at the will of a "definer of bad energy source" commission. Do me a favor and give me a choice as a free man on what I should or should not do. Do not regulate me with yet more laws telling me what I have to do or by taxing/fining me on what I continue to do. We Americans are sick and tired of what the world is used to... over regulation. You politicians have the country so screwed up that it is doubtful we will ever get it straightened out again. If you want to know the answer, it's in education and free market entrepreneurial enterprise. If oil is too expensive then an alternative energy will be found as is happening now, but what will produce the electricity needed to run the machines? A helluva lot of solar panels and wind turbines, eh? I truly believe that supply and demand will take care of the problem in due time. The rewards go to the developers of new technology's. Destroy this basic tenet and you destroy the world, so please Al, NO MORE LAWS that impinge and strangle the natural flow of the American Way. The way we got to where we are in only 200 years.
