Video: White House Press Corps Bias on Display (Updated)

May 2nd, 2009 · No Comments

Andrew Breitbart shares a great video today from Patrick Gavin that demonstrates clear-yet-subtle bias on the part of the White House press corps.

Reporters sit as President George W. Bush enters briefing room.

As shown in the still image above that was captured from the video, reporters did not stand on Feb. 28, 2008, when President George W. Bush entered the White House briefing room.  The still image below, however, shows reporters after they quickly jumped to their feet to greet President Barack Obama as he entered the same room yesterday.

White House reporters stand for President Barack Obama.

So much for objectivity in journalism.

UPDATE 5/02/09 at 3:10 p.m. Central: I was a little slow to pick it up, but Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit shared word yesterday about the Obama Administration threatening to sic the White House press corps on anyone who gets in the way of success in the Chrysler-Fiat deal.  Scarey stuff, indeed!
