If liberals on the left can demand conservatives be fired or booted out of office for their indiscretions, alleged and actual, it’s only fair for conservatives do the same thing. That appears to be the thinking of John Ziegler, the man behind the new online effort residing at FIRE DAVID LETTERMAN.COM.
Ziegler, the man well known for having launched the Media Malpractice web site that explains how President Barack Obama got elected and how Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) was targeted, recently launched a site that targets Letterman and provides tools for site visitors to contact CBS and encourage the network to fire the 62-year-old late night talk show host.
Among the tools listed on the site are a sample letter and contact information for both CBS executives and officials at companies that advertise on Letterman’s show and on his web site. In addition, the site features information about the group’s Facebook page and about a Fire David Letterman Rally set to take place at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday outside the Ed Sullivan Theater at 1697 Broadway in New York City.

The dichotomy between the way Imus was treated and the way Letterman was forgiven is amazing. I think both statements were wrong, but Imus nearly had his career destroyed by a joke, and Letterman is celebrated by the left.

I think Letterman should also apologize to A-Rod for accusing him of being a rapist. Then he should be fired.

Letterman would be history already if he had made a similar ‘joke’ about one of the Obama girls. I’m sure E D Hill would have liked to have had the pass Letterman is getting, as would any number of other conservatives who have been tared and feathered by the liberal press and other left wingers.
