My latest findings related to the Amazon Defense Coalition’s flimsy lawsuit against Chevron Corporation in Ecuador are highlighted in a report on the San Francisco Chronicle‘s SFGate.com blog this morning.
Chief among the findings highlighted by San Francisco-based video blogger Zennie Abraham in the video above and in text and video here is the fact Richard Cabrera, a court-appointed “expert” in the case, has received $206,000 in payments during the past five years from Selviva, a company set up in Ecuador by people associated with the plaintiff, ADC. In addition, Abraham highlights my finding about the world waiting to see who pays Cabrera the $43,000 amount submitted for services rendered in his final invoice. Selviva was, after all, declared “inactive” by the Ecuadoran government in February.
I encourage you to view and read Abraham’s report as it provides a worthwhile look at the findings published in my post, What Will Be The Outcome of the Amazon Defense Coalition’s Lawsuit Against Chevron in Ecuador?
I also encourage you to check out the report where it appears at Zennie’s blog, Zennie62: The Blog Report.
