Let me qualify that statement with insight gained by posing this simple question to NASA: "If there were some cosmic event which could be classified an extinction level event, would nasa or U.S. government officials warn the public?" The short answer, "NO!"...because, to do so would send the world into mass panic, there would be such a level of unrest, rioting, looting that the last days would be devistating. Honestly, this leads me to believe, we'd be no better off than the dinasaurs, despite our technological and communication advancements. As for things such as Nuclear War, Biological War...some could survive if they were prepared to meet the challenges such events present to you. In my lifelong efforts to share knowledge with others, I took on the task of building an urban survival resource for the public. I created a website which contains the tools, supplies, knowledge to help those unprepared to survive where survival *is* possible. Of course, I cannot teach everyone to have the mindset that will be required to survive, that is a task each person must take on themselves.
