Foster Friess believes it’s time to put partisanship aside and reverse the course of events that has seen a huge increase in the size and scope of government.
In a post today, he shares the “must-see” video below which, among other things, speaks to the problems associated with a lack of unity among Republicans and a need to put partisanship aside and reverse the course of events that has seen a massive increase in the size and intrusiveness of government (think “government-run HMO?”).
Yesterday, Friess published another worthwhile post in which he highlighted how President Barack Obama uses free market vernacular to sell his health plans, describing the government insurance plan as an ‘option’:
“Is it fair for public, government-subsidized insurance to compete against private insurance?” President Obama argues that Americans will still have ‘choice’ in determining whether they want to keep their existing plans or move to the new government-run plan.
“BUT…
“…what President Obama fails to mention is that the overwhelming majority of Americans don’t choose their health insurance — their employers do.”
I encourage you to read both posts and watch the video. Then, if you agree with Friess’ point of view on these critical issues, share this post with people you know who care about the future of this country. In addition, encourage them to get involved in the American Tea Party movement on July 4.
