United breaks guitars. That’s the message Dave Carroll shares in the video below more than a year after United Airlines baggage handlers at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport allegedly severely damaged the musician’s $3,500 Taylor guitar. Only after Carroll received no satisfaction from the airline did he record the song and produce the video that should serve as a warning to any company that treats its customers poorly.

As one who used to live in airports and airplanes (former business traveler), I saw the abuse of baggage. I wish I had a dime for everytime I saw a bag fall off the truck and was continued to be passed over by each other baggage cart heading to another airplane. It was just crazy.
I did travel with a $6,000 Colnago handmade Campagnolo equipped Italian road racing bicycle on occasion. I bought the best case I could find for it, and I was always amazed at the new abuse the case showed when I flew with my bike. There is just no sense in it.
