More Mob-Rule Video from South St. Louis

August 7th, 2009 · 6 Comments

As a follow up to my earlier post, Mayhem Breaks Out at St Louis Town Hall Meeting, I offer yet another video from yesterday’s town hall meeting in South St. Louis hosted by Rep. Russ Carnival Carnahan (D-Mo.).   This one came from a third party via Reboot CongressFYI: While no insurance company organizers were present at the event during which taxpayers were supposed to be able to voice their concerns and get answers to questions about health care reform, there were several union thugs in attendance who ensured instead that “mob rule” was the order of the day.

It’s funny we hear Republicans say that they do not want “faceless bureaucrats” making medical decisions but they have no problem with “private sector” “faceless bureaucrats” daily declining medical coverage and financially ruining good hard working people. And who says that the “private sector” is always right, do we forget failures like Long-Term Capital, WorldCom, Global Crossing, Enron, Tyco, AIG and Lehman Brothers. Of course the federal government will destroy heathcare by getting involved, Oh but wait our military men and women and the Senate and Congress get the best heathcare in the world, and oh, that’s right, its run by our federal government. I can understand why some may think that the federal government will fail, if you look at the past eight years as a current history, with failures like the financial meltdown, Katrina, and the Walter Reed Scandal but the facts is they can and if we support them they will succeed.

    Paul,

All of the things you cite above pale in comparison to what B.O. has done in just six months, so slither back down the steps of your mom’s basement and don’t come out until you’ve come to your senses. If you don’t have any, you can probably go to eBay and try to bid on some “common sense.” Good luck!

Before you go touting the ‘great’ medical program that the vets have, and God bless our vets, no one else does… consider that all the chemical and nuclear experimentation that the U.S. has done, resulting in sickness and death, is still not recognized as ‘illness’ by the V.A., and the U.S. Government. Agent Orange, D.U. ammunition, Gulf War Syndrome… these guys coming home and infecting their loved ones, having severe increases in birth defects… how in God’s name can you defend this?
There are 20,000 dead from that ’91 war, and we didn’t even loose 500 at the time.
Veterans should be up in arms, or at least start their own political party. Instead, by Executive Order, we use them as guinea pigs, for countless vaccine experiments…
    It’s repugnant.

CHUCK — Back up your claims with proof. I’m a vet, and I won’t believe your 20,000 deaths claim about the first Gulf War until you show me proof. As for the rest of your “guinea pig” claims, I think those just spill out of your anger about everything else, but I’ll let them slide.

Oh, Montana, there you go — arguing without making a point or presenting evidence. Puh-leeze!
