While working on my laptop about 15 minutes ago, I decided to check my Gmail account and a hit song by Don McLean came to mind. Read the parody lyrics below and see if you can figure out which song they match:
My, my, it-seems-my Gmail has died?
I was working on my laptop when their server denied.
Checking my e-mail, away time did slide. I’m singin’, “This’ll be the day Gmail died.”
It all started at a few minutes before 3 p.m. Central and, despite the Google message (below) that appeared on my e-mail page before everything went to the “Server Error” page, all of my connections to other web sites are working fine.
Which Don McLean song came to mind? “American Pie.”
Editor’s Note: As of this posting, my Gmail has been inaccessible for 25 minutes. Aaarrgh!!
Editor’s Note #2: To reach me during this outage, use Twitter: @BloggingMachine.
Editor’s Note #3: After 1 hour and 21 minutes of downtime, Gmail is back up.

"Yikes! I Might Be...Militia!"

Obama needed the bandwidth and e-mail traffic of anyone who is not a Obama cult member to send out ObamaCare mail.
If you are not in jail by tomorrow morning, your account will be restored.
