UPDATE 10-2-09 11:43 p.m. Central: Saint Charles Tea Party Video
I don’t make it a practice to share much news about events in my local area, but I’m making an exception when it comes to the St. Charles (Mo.) Tea Party. I’ll be attending the event Friday, Oct. 2, 4 to 7 p.m., at Frontier Park along the banks of the Missouri River.
Billed by organizers as an event during which Americans can come together to celebrate life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, it will feature KLPW radio personality Diana Jones as emcee and a number of notable guests including:
- Paul Curtman, the Marine who vaulted to fame for demanding an apology from Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) during a town hall meeting about health care this summer (See this video for details); and
- Kevin Jackson, St. Louis-based author of “The BIG Black Lie: How I Learned The Truth About The Democrat Party“, a book that should end up on many best-sellers lists without any help from the mainstream news media.
Upwards of 5,000 people are expected. Make sure you’re one of them! See you there!
