Early in today’s sermon about living a passionate life in Christ, my pastor told the story of a man whose doctor told him he had only six months to live and that he should immediately buy a pig farm and marry a widow with 14 children. Confused, the man asked his doctor, “Why do that? I only have six months to live.” The doctor responded: “It will be the longest six months of your life.”
