Perhaps because I grew up in Oklahoma (a.k.a., “Tornado Alley”), I found myself intrigued by the computer-generated image of a spaghetti tornado that appeared in the film, “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs”.
According to a Sept. 29 news release, Sony Pictures Imageworks used NVIDIA® Quadro® processors to accelerate animation and visual effects production (i.e., the spaghetti tornado) in that film.
Admittedly, I don’t know much about spaghetti tornadoes, and I haven’t seen the movie; still, I can’t help but wonder whether or not a storm that spawns spaghetti tornado also produces meatballs in place of hail stones?
