Talk radio is a flexible medium and, as such, sometimes doesn’t follow a script. Such was the case this morning when I made a 22-minute appearance as a guest on the internet-based show of talk radio legend Bob Grant (a.k.a., “New York City’s King of Talk Radio”) expecting to discuss President Barack Obama’s receipt of the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize.
Instead of talking about that subject, Grant and I discussed everything from energy and the environment to Al Gore and the race for a U.S. Senate seat that will become open when Sen. Kit Bond (R-Mo.) retires in 2010. It begins during the 19th minute of the video.
When asked what I thought my blog could do to affect change, I discussed my recent involvement in producing videos of the K-N-Patriots rallies at the intersection of Highways K and N in O’Fallon, Mo., and encouraged people across the nation to launch similar efforts.
Though I rambled on in spots, I think it was a good interview. Click here or on the image above to watch it, and let me know what you think.

UPDATE 10/14/09 at 5:20 p.m. Central: I just found the video of an incident I mentioned on Bob Grant’s show. It shows former Vice President Al Gore Unable to Defend Global Warming.

You’re really famous now. Perhaps they should hire you as regular.

Famous? Hardly. But thanks for the humor, Debbie!

Hey bob,
You did a great job… I am one of Mr. Grants producers and I apologize it took me this long to come back to your blog for a visit. We would love to have you back on the show. This time you can plan on discussing global warming and then actually discuss the plan for afghan speech!
