In a humorous parody of Tennessee Ernie Ford’s 1955 hit, “Sixteen Tons,” the “Two Trillion Tons” video above features Uncle Sam warning Americans that President Barack Obama’s economic stimulus plan and budget could be hazardous to the nation’s economic well-being. The lyrics of the song were written by Jim Gossett and Lars Larson for The Lars Larson Show on Westwood One Radio Network. Enjoy (the song, not the debt)!
