Yes, the video above is fruity and funny, but is has nothing to do with Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.). Instead, it captures the latest mission of the folks at Improv Everywhere: Grocery Store Musical.
Recently, the group sent six undercover actors to a grocery store in Queens where they burst into song, singing about fruit. After three minutes of singing and silly choreography, they returned to their roles as shoppers and stock boys. The mission was filmed with hidden robotic, lipstick and wearable cameras, and the song was played over the store’s PA system live. Pretty slick.
Thought this was appropriate for a Monday.
