Almost daily, it seems a new explanation surfaces as a possible explanation for the behavior of two Northwest Airlines pilots whose aircraft overshot the runway at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport by 100 miles before turning around and landing safely.  Were they sleeping, arguing or preoccupied with surfing the internet on their laptops?

NWA already has a no-laptops-in-the-cockpit policy.  If the FAA adopts the same policy, cartoonist David Donar at Political Graffiti believes aviators will turn to the next best thing, the aptly-name Palm Pilot®.
