Eight days ago, I posted a link on my Facebook wall to a Zero Hedge piece about a “super flu” 10 times more lethal than Swine Flu that had, at that time, affected nearly a million people in Ukraine. And I asked where the mainstream media was in its coverage — or lack thereof — of this news.

Today, finally, one member of the mainstream media — albeit member of the British press via Drudge — is reporting on it.  The Daily Express reports this in its lead paragraph:

A cocktail of three flu viruses are reported to have mutated into a single pneumonic plague, which it is believed may be far more dangerous than swine flu. The death toll has reached 189 and more than 1 million people have been infected, most of them in the nine regions of Western Ukraine.

Sounds bad.  Very bad.  Stay tuned!
