The Lockheed-Martin F-22 Raptor made an impressive demonstration (see videos above and below) at the just-concluded Dubai Air Show 2009, prompting some — including the folks at Defense World — to conclude that the appearance signals the United States’ intent to offer this latest fighter in the U.S. arsenal to its friends and allies in the Middle east.
Should we sell an aircraft that is, arguably, the most-advanced jet fighter in the world to countries in this politically-volatile region? I think not.
