For perhaps the first time in his political life, Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-S.C.) proved he has a spine — and a brain — during a hearing yesterday with Attorney General Eric Holder on the subject of prosecuting terrorists such as Khalid Sheik Mohammed in a civilian court instead of a military one.
Not only did he leave Holder sounding like President Barack Obama, saying things such as, “I’ll have to think about it” and “That depends…”, but he made the nation’s top law enforcement official look like a total buffoon, unable — or, more likely, unwilling — to acknowledge the fact that the Obama Administration does not want the prosecution of Islamic terrorists to be successful.
