During the past week, I shared news about three Navy SEALs — SO1 Julio A. Huertas, SO2 Jonathan E. Keefe and SO2 Matthew V. McCabe — facing charges related to their apprehension of Ahmed Hashim Abed, the alleged planner of the March 2004 ambush, killing and mutilation of four Blackwater contractors in Fallujah, Iraq. Today, I share the actual charge sheets which were the focus of an arraignment hearing yesterday in Norfolk, Va. Read them and prepare to be underwhelmed.

The FACTS is these so called soldiers “broke regulations” with regards to prisoner handling. They should be and deserve to be PUNISHED.

Ive said it before and I will say it again…we need a type of Political officer in the military, answerable ONLY to the President, embedded with EVERY unit, to ensure fair and equal treatment of prisoners and to guard against violating ANY international agreements we adhere to.

Political Officer? Hey didn’t the Soviet Military do this? I love it–a politcal officer to ensure and maintain the military’s fidelity to the Democratic Party and his excellency President Obama. Oh yeah–while we’re at it, let’s institute an affirmation oathe to swear allegiance to the political party in charge–yes, yes–just like the German Wermacht in Nazi Germany. What a wonderous and thoughtfully sensitive thing this would be!!! Oh joy…

sigh….I should have expected such bogostic blabberings from the unwashed masses.

They broke the Military Code…deal with it. They deserve maximum sentencing. Our armed forces are nothing but loose cannons and need to be reigned in.

Clowning Bolus seems to be trolling every website comment string that speaks favorably of the SEALS – fairly predictable behavior for a lefty moron with no obvious life aside from a tenuous claim to be a “Wikipedia Admin”, which is approximately ten steps lower in overall esteem to a prostitute’s dead cat.

In response to Calton Bolick’s request that a political Officer be placed in every unit of the Armed Service and be accountable only to the president. Mr Bolick if you want to have this type of officer in all units then I suggest you pack up and move to Russia or China as these countries have these officers in their units to wacth and spy on everyone. I take it you are nothing more than a commie lover and know nothing about being in the military other than what you have watched on tv. Here these brave men risked their lives to bring in a sum bag who killed four Americans and now are being punished because they gave him a fat lip. These men are fighting to keep you safe and free and if you cannot respect their efforts and the efforts of all who are fighting so you can sleep under your bed safe every night, I suggest you take your sorry butt out of the Land Of The Free and go live with the ones you love and care so much about and see what they do to your sorry butt. You will then find out just how much your crying did for you when they are cutting your throat. Wake up and smell the music!!!!

You know, it’s so amazing to me. As I read these and other comments on other blogs that are supporting the SEALs — and I have no doubt that you are — it boggles my mind that the vast majority accept without question that these men gave the terrorist a fat lip, punch in the gut, whatever. For heaven’s sake — the SEALs have denied the charges — All the charges!! Please, take them at their word. Consider the source of this unproven accusation — a known terrorist responsible for the murder and mutilation of four U.S. citizens in Iraq. This guy is following the Al Qaeda training manual, chapter 18, that tells them to claim abuse if detained or imprisoned. And God help us all, it’s working, isn’t it? Three brave men have been pulled out of theater and are facing courts martial, on the sole and unsubstantiaed allegation of a terrorist. Unconscionable!!

@hotoffthepress2 — No, sir — I am not. Not at all. My comment was prompted by Bolick’s comment — and others I have read on other blogs. I have read a great many comments supporting the SEALs which begin with — “that’s all — a fat lip/punch in the gut” — so the presumption that they did Something is there. I’m trying to get people to realize that they are starting from a presumption with no evidence beyond the word of a terrorist. A wake-up call, if you will. I deeply appreciate your support, sir. And I am so impressed and grateful that you have a link right on your homepage for the SEALs and for Lt. Behanna. Thank you!!!

These poor heroes are being made an example of–everyone can see that.

They’re in combat with a HVT–He (Talibanian) claims he gets a fat lip. The SEALs deny it!! What is there left to talk about? We certainly ARE AWARE OF the SEAL’s qualifications to even get SELECTED! I’m sure integrity was one of them.

We are talking about an alleged FAT LIP in a FULL HOSTILE COMBAT ENVIRONMENT—not a corpse that was burned beyond recognition, like four of our American contractors who were massacred back in Fallujah about four years ago. After being desecrated and burned beyond recognition, they were hung from a bridge.

Pray & praise our troops instead of trying to trump up some bullshsit against them.

Just read “Lone Survivor” by Marcus Lutrelle and you will understand the decisions that were made based on the fact that the SOP of terrorists is exactly that. The results of playing the moral card cost many lives.
