Phelim McAleer to Appear on Neil Cavuto Again

December 17th, 2009 · No Comments

Phelim McAleer, the Irish filmmaker who was the subject of my post, Gore Dodges Questions About Climate Change, published Tuesday appeared on Fox News Channel’s Your World with Neil Cavuto yesterday.  During the interview with Cavuto, the director of the documentary, “Not Evil, Just Wrong,” was attacked by vegetable-tossing attendees at the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen.

Apparently, they didn’t like the fact that McAleer had the nerve both to ask questions of them and to wander around the conference venue while dressed in a polar bear suit and carrying a sign that read, “Where is Phil Jones?” — a reference to the now-disgraced head of East Anglia University’s Climatic Research Unit at the heart of the scandal involving e-mails and manipulated climate change data.

FYI: In an e-mail received at 1:56 p.m. Central from his colleague, Kristin McMurry, I learned that McAleer will make a repeat appearance on Cavuto’s program today at 3 p.m. Central to discuss “ClimateGate” and the range of responses and non-responses he’s received — ranging from armed responses to vegetable attacks — after asking questions of people like former Vice President Al Gore and Stanford University Professor Stephen Schneider.
