I woke up to find a friend had forwarded a link to the Air & Space Magazine video below which shows an Air Force pilot tearing through the Grand Canyon at 300 knots in his Lockheed T-33 trainer back in 1959 — before modern flight restrictions came into play. Having not had a cup of coffee yet, watching this video was enough to wake me up. Thanks, Chuck!
