Almost a year has passed since the editorial cartoon above appeared in a BMW post published under the headline, Obama Has Yet to Fulfill Pledge of Transparency. Unfortunately, it seems nothing has changed since he took office — and people are starting to notice.
In the video below, C-SPAN CEO Brian Lamb talks about how President Barack Obama’s campaign-trail pledge to broadcast hearings on his network has resulted in only one hour of health care coverage.
Even Katie Couric on CBS Evening News touched the subject with the help of White House correspondent Chip Reid in the video below.
The White House web site has an undated page dedicated to Transparency and Open Government, and a post on the White House blog highlights President Barack Obama’s commitment to transparency in a Jan. 20, 2009, post, Change Has Come to WhiteHouse.gov. Unfortunately, Americans are still waiting to see the president’s transparency in action — as promised no fewer than eight times as shown in the video below from Naked Emperor News via Breitbart.com — JUST ADDED!
