Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) reacted to President Barack Obama’s State of the Union speech with a back-handed compliment, saying, “This guy can say things that aren’t true with greater conviction than anyone I’ve ever seen.”
The conservative Republican shared his thoughts during a radio interview this morning with Joe Kelley of Tulsa radio station KRMG.
Comparing President Obama’s speech Wednesday night to the first State of the Union address by Bill Clinton, Inhofe said he honestly thinks that Obama is better.
“When he says things that he knows are not right, we know these are his weakest points and he tries to make them into his strongest points, things like we will do our work openly,” Senator Inhofe explained, “everybody knows, Joe, that all these deals on his government-run health care were done literally behind closed doors.”
Senator Inhofe also criticized the president for devoting only seven of 70 minutes on national security and for trying to appear as if he’s committed to tax cuts when he was the one who tried to pass huge tax increases related to health care reform and cap and trade legislation.

Can we PLEASE dispense with the lie that Obama is a great speaker. Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton were great speakers.
Listening to him is as annoying as hell. I cringe everytime he opens his mouth. He lectures and preaches. And worst of all, he accentuates every word at the end of a sentence.

[...] Inhofe called Obama’s comments about the Bush administration’s contribution to the deficit “disingenuous” and “just not true.” But a CAP analysis concludes that 41 percent of the source of increased spending in 2009 is attributable to the financial rescues begun by Bush. Moreover, with regards to the redeployment from Iraq, PolitiFact found Obama has kept his promise to begin winding down our involvement and is on pace to do so by his August deadline. Realize that 45% of Americans actually believe what Hussein Obama says is true!! Hussein Obama lies 100% of the time and still liberals/progressives believe the things he mumbles. Imagine lying from the time you get up until the time you go to bed. That is what we have for a President. He hates white people. He hates real Americans and he desperately wants to install communism throughout our great land down to the taco vendor. Congressmen continue to give that bastard more of their own power by passing bills that bypass congress. We have buffoons for congressmen. November can’t come fast enough.
