Earlier this week, President Barack Obama was roundly criticized — especially by those on the right, including yours truly — for relying upon a teleprompter while speaking at an elementary school. That’s why no one was surprised to see he didn’t use a teleprompter while addressing members of the House Republican Caucus in Baltimore late this morning. They were, however, stumped by a visual aide he used — and television cameras seemed to miss — that’s depicted in the artist’s rendition above.
