I just heard from an individual with sources inside St. Charles (Mo.) High School that Secret Service agents were “all over” the grounds of the school today in advance of a reported visit to the school Wednesday by President Barack Obama.
What’s the purpose of his visit to this school in this heavily-Republican county? What else will he be doing in the St. Louis area? Those questions remain to be answered.
UPDATE 3/5/10 at 6:41 p.m. Central: Rep. Todd Akin (R-Mo.) invites all tea party groups, independent conservatives and other citizens who oppose President Obama’s so-called health care reform plans to attend a special rally Wednesday morning at 9:45 at the St Charles County Convention Center.
UPDATE #2 3/8/10 at 9:21 a.m. Central: President Obama’s speech at St. Charles (Mo.) High School is scheduled to begin at approximately 4 p.m. Central, according to a local newspaper report today, and will not include and question-and-answer opportunities.
UPDATE #3 3/8/10 at 9:27 a.m. Central: Michelle Malkin reports that the high school event will be “invitation only.” No surprise there.

I am totally opposed to the unconstitutional attempt of the Obama administration to take over our health care system and ration health care as it is done in England and Canada! On Wednesday, I plan to be in Saint Charles with all who will join me to stand up for our constitutional rights! Congress cannot require that we buy anything – certainly not health care insurance. This is an individual choice!

What’s with the politicking on a school campus?? is he also going to be putting these kids in a high security risk area? is he going to also be pushing Race to the Top education alongwith the healthcontrol choke pill??? The parents should not have allowed him to endanger the kids like this with his “beloved presence” on campus putting them at risk. talk about a captive audience. and the schools won’t even let us hold constitution and civics classes in schools such as Union.

The speech is to be well after school has been dismissed for the day. Those with narrow minds (Sandra) would do well to check ALL of the facts before opening their mouth/keyboard. God loves you.
