After suffering the loss of his son, Marine Lance Cpl. Matthew A. Snyder, in Iraq, Albert Snyder of York, Pa., tried to bury his son in peace.  That’s when Fred Phelps and a group from Westboro Baptist Church showed up to protest and disrupt the funeral.  The elder Snyder sued them for their actions and, [...]

In recent days, liberal Democrats have spent a lot of time leveling allegations of violence against tea partiers in the nation’s capitol and elsewhere.  Take a look at how supporters of U.S. Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) treated Andrew Breitbart and other Tea Party Express visitors this weekend in the majority leader’s hometown of Searchlight, Nev.  [...]

President Obama Exits Belly of the Beast

March 29th, 2010 · 2 Comments

[Note: I used [...]

Protesters Outline ObamaCare-Related Fears

March 27th, 2010 · 2 Comments

Early this afternoon, I asked individuals at the weekly anti-socialism rally in O’Fallon, Mo., to share their greatest fears now that President Barack Obama has signed government-run health care (a.k.a., “ObamaCare”) into law. In response, they shared concerns about rationing of health care and the possibility of receiving no health care at all. They shared [...]

Wealth Distribution on the Menu in Austin

March 26th, 2010 · 1 Comment

Two long-time friends of mine sent the photo above of a sign outside an El Arroyo Restaurant location in Austin. It appears the owner of the Mexican restaurant has, using tongue-in-cheek language, put President Barack Obama’s wealth redistribution thinking on the menu.  The sign reads, “TRY OUR OBAMA ESPECIAL.  ORDER ANYTHING AND THE NEXT TABLE [...]
