CBO: Deficit $1.2T Higher Than Previous Estimate

Published on the blog of David Elmendorf, director of the Congressional Budget Office, at 3:20 p.m. EST today: The CBO estimates deficits that are $75 billion higher for 2011 and $1.2 trillion greater over the 2011–2020 period than what the Obama Administration anticipates under President Barack Obama’s budget.
