Anti-Turkey protests began to take shape across the street from the Turkish Embassy in Tel Aviv only hours after an incident off the coast of Israel left as many as 19 10 people dead aboard ships purporting to be carrying aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, according to this report.
Within hours of the incident, the Turkish government recalled its ambassador from Israel and warned of consequences for Israel. Likewise, the United Nations condemned Israel and media outlets like CNN and Voice of America made sure the words of UN officials condemning Israel were carried around the world.
At about the same time, the anti-Turkey protests began in Israel’s capital city.
The photos above and below were shot by a BobMcCarty.com correspondent at approximately 5 p.m. in Tel Aviv (10 a.m. Central USA). Later today, I hope to have video of the protest soon.
