With cows receiving a lot of blame in recent years for allegedly contributing to global warming via their flatulence, I thought I would share a new television spot, “Thank you, cows”, that caught my attention this morning. Produced by British dairy producer Müller, it made me think of wearing a CO2ws t-shirt. Hat tip: AgWired

Blogger Offers Look at Good Ol’ Days in Oil Patch
May 27th, 2010 · 2 Comments
Over the years, I developed a deep respect of and appreciation for the U.S. oil and natural gas industry and count several friends among those who’ve earned their livelihood in the oil patch. No doubt, the blame for my fossil fuels friendliness lies in the fact I grew up in northwest Oklahoma during the ’60s [...]

Jo Ann Emerson Banks Money from Radical Unions
May 27th, 2010 · 2 Comments
I’ve developed a keen interest in a certain seven-term incumbent Republican RINO Republican congresswoman during the past four weeks. Elected to serve the people of Missouri’s 8th Congressional District, her name is Jo Ann Emerson and, during the past four election cycles, she has accepted campaign contributions from some very radical unions. During her last-three [...]

St Louis TV Station Airs Illegal Immigrant Tearjerker
May 27th, 2010 · 1 Comment
KMOV Channel 4, the CBS television news affiliate in St. Louis, broadcast an illegal immigrant tearjerker story Tuesday, making me wonder what point, if any, investigative reporter Craig Cheatham was trying to make. Watch… The cold, hard reality of the situation is that when “Miguel”, the illegal immigrant who entered this country illegally from Mexico [...]

Terrorists looking for an opportunity to study how law enforcement agencies conduct a regional counterterrorism exercise received a gift Wednesday night. It came in the form of an embargoed news release. I came across the news release, a partial image of which appears above, via PR Newswire Wednesday at 8:37 p.m. Central. Issued by the [...]

Americans Prepare for Memorial Day 2010 (Video)
May 26th, 2010 · 4 Comments
Today, I visited a cemetery in St. Peters, Mo., where nearly 100 people, mostly veterans and their spouses, were preparing the hallowed ground for ceremonies that will take place there on Memorial Day 2010. Four of them told me about their service and about what it meant to them to be able to honor fallen [...]

Jo Ann Emerson Sponsoring Union Bailout Bill!
May 25th, 2010 · 12 Comments
Jo Ann Emerson is back in the news today as one of nine members of the U.S. House of Representatives sponsoring H.R. 3936, a $165 billion union pension bailout bill. But why? It could be that the seven-term RINO Republican elected in the 8th Congressional District of Southeast Missouri simply loves bailouts. After all, she [...]
